The sheer presence of the whale shark as it glides effortlessly through the water is breathtaking. Witnessing its massive form move with such grace feels almost surreal, as if time itself slows down in its wake.
This is the stairs that lead to the exit of the Leeum Museum. There is a mirror on the top and the front that reflects the half ring into a full ring. The girls on the other side are a reflection of them who are in silhouette. I respect the original yellow color as that\\\'s a part of the art I believe.
I used Lightroom to develop the image. Lower the texture, the clarity, and the dehaze settings to make the image more blurred and let yellow reach the front. Try to darken the front mirror more so that I can navigate the viewer\\\'s eye to the silhouette.
This photograph represents the traditional Japanese culture and the beauty of nature, the stillness and movement that the Japanese spirit has cherished.
I took this photograph at a Japanese shrine on a full moon night. The full moon and the torii gate of the shrine represent perfection, the waves shot with a long second exposure represent movement, and the bird standing on the torii gate represents stillness.
