Every flicker, every movement tells a story of the wild.
Beddome’s cat snake (Boiga beddomei) at Matheran. The backlit glow and slow shutter speed beautifully highlight the young snake’s flickering movements, creating an ethereal effect.
Beddome’s cat snake, endemic to the Western Ghats, is a nocturnal and arboreal species known for its slender body and distinct head. This rare sighting in its natural habitat was truly a magical experience.
The scene depicted here is part of a courtship display between a male and female kingfisher. During courtship, the male actively chases the female, and they engage in aerial duels and interactions.
If you have specific elements in your photograph you\\\'d like to highlight—such as the bamboo ritual, traditional costumes, or musical instruments—please let me know, and I can tailor the description accordingly.
This image has been shot at 4420m in Langza, Spiti Valley India. To get a Snow Leopard in absolute snow is not easy as there are only limited patches of snow stays in trans-himalayan region where the animal decide to walk over it as it\'s not comfortable for anyone to walk. After a lot of hike and with some luck managed to click this image. I thought to use the foreground of the frozen bush as part of the frame. All grace to the mountain God.

A protective and alert vixen nursing her a month old pups. Findings indicate that Bengal foxes can sometimes be more social. Female Bengal foxes were reported to share dens during lactation and four adult foxes were seen emerging from the same den.
The Ethereal dawn : monochromatic awakening
In the stillness of a rural Indian morning, I captured the essence of a misty dawn in timeless black and white. The soft, diffused light seeps through the trees. The misty veil, gently lifted by the dawn\'s warmth, reveals the rustic charm of the countryside in a palette of nuanced grays. This photograph distills the serene beauty of the scene, inviting the viewer to contemplate the harmony of light, mist, and nature\'s monochromatic Splendor
When Speed Meets Strength: Cheetah’s Topi Takedown
The radio crackled to life, and our guide steered us toward the action. What unfolded was extraordinary—a cheetah tackling an adult topi! The elusive cheetah finally graced us with a breathtaking spectacle. After hours of anticipation, we were rewarded: a cheetah in full pursuit, topi sprinting for its life. ?♂️Our guide confessed he’d never witnessed this before. As the dust settled, I snapped a series of shots, freezing the raw power of nature.
In lively black-and-white photography, a lifetime’s worth of details are written primarily on the face of an elderly farmer. His pale face speaks of years of hard work under the sun, deep fibers in his skin carved like trenches in a well-kept location
Despite the monochrome, bursts of vibrant Holi colors adorn her face, in stark contrast to the long-standing curls.
There is a quiet dignity in his eyes, a testament to resilience through years of hard work and hardship. Though old, his eyes still retain the sparkle of life, reflecting the depth of his experiences and the wisdom he gained from a lifetime of hard work.
The Roof
The ancient caves known as the Karla Caves, Karli Caves, Karle Caves or Karla Cells, are a complex of ancient Buddhist Indian rock-cut caves at Karli near Lonavala. The shrines were developed over the period – from the 2nd century BCE to the 5th century CE. The oldest of the cave shrines is believed to date back to 160 BCE, having arisen near a major ancient trade route, running eastward from the Arabian Sea into the Deccan.
This photograph show\'s caves indoor side & how created the beautiful architecture design at that time. The group at Karla is one of the older and smaller ones of the many rock-cut Buddhist sites in Maharashtra. Fifteen pillars on each side separate the nave from the aisles; each pillar has a tall base, an octagonal shaft, and richly ornamented capital, on the inner front of which kneel two elephants, each bearing two figures, generally a man and a woman, but sometimes two females, all very much better executed than such ornaments usually are; behind are horses and tigers, each bearing a single figure. The sculptures on the capitals supply the place usually occupied by frieze and cornice in Greek architecture. Above this springs the roof, semicircular in general section, but somewhat stilted at the sides, so as to make its height greater than the semi-diameter. It is ornamented even at this day by a series of wooden ribs, probably coeval with the excavation.
A colorful fishing boat, weathered and worn, cuts through the calm waters of the Arabian Sea. The setting sun paints the sky in shades of orange and purple, the contrast between vibrant colours of the sky and the weathered boat
– The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
– Only those photos have been published in the list that passed the second stage of voting.
– Only one strongest photo from each author is counted in the Best Photos ranking. Even if a photographer has several published works, only the highest-rated one is used to calculate their ranking position. As a result, the order of photos in the list may not match the author's final ranking position.
