Jhoe Denn B. Hospital, a six-year-old from the Philippines, is not your typical child, not even among those in special education. Despite being enrolled in Oton Central Elementary School's (OCES) Special Program for Children with Special Needs, Jhoe stands out in a unique way. What sets him apart from his classmates is not something you will typically expect from someone of pure Filipino descent.
Interestingly, this distinctive trait is not exclusive to Jhoe; his father and two brothers also share this unique blue coloration in their eyes. This characteristic is attributed to a specific syndrome called Waardenburg.
