Great Gray Owl, a rare visitor to central New Hampshire, graced us with a brief visit. After an unsuccessful hunt, this owl silently flew out of the tall, snowy grass back to its hunting perch.
This Great Grey Owl, near Fishing Bridge in Yellowstone National Park, finally got the meal it wanted after several unsuccessful attempts. These photos are representative of 38 shots taken in the full sequence.
