The scenery of the Pamir Plateau in southern Xinjiang shocked me that it was located on the "Panlong Ancient Road" not far from the borders of India, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan. Although the world is in color, we believe that black and white photos are still real. Monochrome images blend line shapes and atmosphere, adding another possibility for perceiving the world. I try to use specific techniques to provide contrast and drama to the photos. Monochromatic tones are a good illustration of "less is more".
