Traditional Market at Makassar, indonesia

This picture is the atmosphere of a very traditional Sea Products Trading Center, precisely the Makassar paotere fish auction.
Located in the northern part of Makassar City, about three kilometers from Losari Beach. The port, which is one of the people's harbors inherited from the past, holds historical evidence of the heritage of the Gowa-Tallo Kingdom since the 14th century, when it dispatched about 200 Phinisi Boat fleets to Malacca to help the King of Malacca repel the Dutch colonialists.
Today, Paotere Harbor is still used as a port for people's boats such as Phinisi, Lambo, motorized fishing boats and inter-island traders. In addition, Paotere has also become a fishing trade center, with a Fish Auction Place facility built by the local government.
