Sadhu in the holy Ganges river
A photographic journey through India and its mystical holy men.
I was traveling in India the first months of 2020. I met the sadhu Lalan Baba in the holy city of Varanasi. He had incredibles and deeps eyes. We spoke several days and one morning we decided to jump into the sacred Ganges river, and I took this photo. The sadhus are a religious group within hinduism that adopted asceticism as a manner of living. They have abandoned all their possesions and live a wandering life to attain spiritual enlightenment
