Fishing for positives in Covid
The fishing industry all across the UK has undergone massive change all across the last 12 months through Covid and Brexit. Jersey has been a microcosm of all this with nearly all exports stopped the local fisherman have sold directly to islanders with great success. Through the use of social media and word of mouth the fisheries have survived and thrived.
I have been alongside many fishermen over the last 12 months working to raise awareness and document the hard work they do to provide us with our local harvest.
