Higher but Alone

To me this pic is not just a landscape. It shows one side of our lives. Some of us when we go up higher and higher, we forget whom we were with and eventually at some point we are starting to understand that we are alone,it's like the alone pine tree on top of the mountain.

Hand-in-hand

I was taking shots of street food carts, vendors and customers lined up along the promenade of Galle Face Green and came across this cart filled with crunchy 'Isso Wade' and yummy 'Ulundu Wade'. Then I noticed reflections forming on the showcase and waited for the right moment. As soon as I saw the reflection of a little boy passing by, I quickly clicked. Only after taking the shot I noticed that the vendor had placed his hand to pick a wade from the showcase, and in a mysterious coincidence the two hands seemed to have connected at that very moment.
