Maya with Cubs Head On

The tigress who changed tourism for Tadoba… the iconic and beloved Maya. The boldest tigress of Tadoba who is unperturbed by the presence of gypsies, people and their cameras must now the most photographed tigress of India. Though I have been blessed enough to frequently witness tigers in wilderness, each sighting of Maya is special for my love for her has no bounds. This photo was taken on one such special morning drive when I took off in search of her hoping to witness and capture the lovely bond that this doting mom shares with her cubs who would soon be a year old. After an hour long wait, got this chance to freeze the cubs at play while Maya calmly looks over

This photograph taken during last summer 2018 at TADOBA TIGER RESERVE. These tigers are cubs of ZUNABAI Tigress . A very dominant tigress of TADOBA BUFFER ZONE. It was sunny day , we were waiting for tigress to come on waterhole to drink water . But these two little bold cubs came first , drank water and started playing in water.I was luck to capture this fighting moment .

Eye to Eye

A hot summer afternoon, tigress sitting in the waterhole cooling her off, deep into the dry forest, with very less chances that she will come out of it. As other parts of the jungle has no sightings since past few days, we decided to wait there only. Finally our patience is paid off & after a waiting of around 30-40 mins we got a clear glimpse of this beauty, as she emerges out and decided to walk through her territory. For few seconds only she stared at me and that few seconds totally framed in my mind forever.
