A Dance of Ice and Fire
A 16 shot panorama taken 500 meters above the glacier where I live in gale winds at sunset. It is one thing to be on these glacier each day, but it’s another thing to truly grasp the scale of them. They are titans to put it simply. Titans that were once connected just decades ago. Now the melting has created all the land that you see. Soon, they will be gone. Such beautiful and powerful wonders of our planet are receding faster and faster due to climate change. If this keeps up, our children won’t ever be able to see such beauty. Only in images like this. With a sense of utter awe, inspiration, and sadness I share this with you. My home. Our home.
