This photograph was taken at Bukit Tinggi, during an extended field session while searching for a species I had long hoped to encounter. The subject was a personal lifer, and capturing it in a meaningful way required patience and careful observation.

I spent two days waiting in the area, studying the surroundings and light conditions, hoping for a clean and natural moment. Rather than rushing the encounter, I waited for the right perch and background that would best represent the subject within its habitat.

When the moment finally came, the patience was rewarded. The image was captured naturally, without disturbance, reflecting the value of persistence in wildlife photography. This photograph stands as a reminder that some moments in nature are worth waiting for.
