This was my second attempt at capturing the full Milky Way arch—this time in Jatavira, Kutch.
The first time was in Nubra Valley. I was excited, the sky was clear, but the final picture didn’t quite turn up the way I had imagined. There was no defined arche. It looked a bit flat. Only then, I realized I had shot it too soon after the core had risen.
This time, I waited for it to rise a bit. And when the arch finally stretched across, it felt complete—like the universe had finally curved into place.
What really struck me though, was the foreground here. These weathered rock formations and sediment lines l together with the milky way, they formed a shape that almost resembles an all-seeing eye—ground and galaxy meeting at a point of quiet symmetry.
