The development of Artificial Intelligence represents the most important innovation of this century. Cyber thinking has an exciting potential, so much so that it can be applied to every area of human life, but its sudden growth could present us with new challenges. Will ethical and social values really be preserved by this spasmodic technological advancement?
What will we be willing to give up to gain control over the most important force that will govern man?
In order to discover \\\"the other\\\" it is necessary to learn to know him, to connect with him. Communication is the weapon we possess to be able to understand what is still unknown to us. Being able to dialogue with AI will allow man to discover the difference between those who have a soul and those who do not.
The project aims to focus on the ambivalence that Artificial Intelligence can represent. Is it really a tool that can lead to the destruction of the human race? Or is it our true key to salvation? The only certainty is that it was man who created it...
Appearing is a bit like the need for glory. We are all a bit narcissistic and the virtual world currently represents the ideal stage on which the narcissist can show off by giving the best of himself. Many argue that appearing is probably ultimately the emblem of a status deriving from a lot of loneliness, deep insecurity and lack of self-confidence. Since there is no certainty of one\\\\\\\'s own value, the search for notoriety and consensus begins. The key word becomes \\\\\\\"sharing\\\\\\\". Sharing details of one\\\\\\\'s private life, even if banal and repetitive, to seek constant attention and confirmation, on one\\\\\\\'s beauty and sympathy, but above all on the possibility of being liked and feeling desired and/or envied. One does everything to always be on stage, on the scene, to be and remain protagonists at all costs.
The more approvals, likes, comments he receives, the more the individual will feel gratified, flattered, adored and desired.
By appearing like or better than others, perhaps we feel less alone, or by believing ourselves to be better, we delude ourselves and build a mask that we truly believe in.
By doing so, however, we risk losing a precious value, namely our individuality, just to enhance an image of ourselves and increase media consensus.
– Рейтинг фотографов по странам и городам строится на основе 3-х лучших фотографий автора и их относительной позиции в каждой отдельной номинации. Рейтинг в номинации "Мобильная фотография" учитывается в меньшей степени для формирования рейтинга. В списке по странам и городам показывается одна фотография автора с лучшим рейтингом.
– В списке опубликованы только работы которые прошли 2-й этап голосования.
– В рейтинге лучших фотографий учитывается только одна — самая сильная — работа от каждого автора. Даже если у фотографа опубликовано несколько работ, в расчёте позиции используется только одна, с наивысшим рейтингом. Поэтому порядок фотографий в списке может не совпадать с итоговым положением автора в рейтинге.
