At the entrance of the Neumayer Channel the wind has instantly stopped blowing at sea level, but probably started to strongly blow in altitude, sweeping the clouds and leaving a mixture of lenticular clouds over the mountains of the Fief range on Wiencke Island (Palmer Archipelago, Antarctic Peninsula). The sea was totally immobile, creating a mirror surface, with the feeling of floating in the air, in a surreal silence. This is the sunset I dreamed all my life.
