Athanasios P. Athanasiou
Born in Nicosia on January 4, 1975. From the age of 6 years until the age of 17 years studying at the school of fine arts Andreas Charalambous in Nicosia. Later he studied Conservation of Paintings in Athens and then he was appointed to the Department of Antiquities of the Cyprus Museum-where he works until today as a photographer. He has worked with several archaeologists, professors, academics, etc., and photos of his work can be found in several books, articles, announcements and yearbooks archaeological content, both in Cypriot and international bibliography. He is a member of the Photographic Society of Cyprus since 2011 and participates in both local and international competitions, and exhibitions and Biennial with numerous achievements. Tribute to his efforts, his work and his technique in the field of photographic art and in recognition for the outstanding services rendered, FIAP (The international Federation of Photographic Art) gave him the title of AFIAP (Artist FIAP).
