The hands which hold so much power, the power of craft to carve the deity infront of which millions of heads bow,these anguished hands never gets the credit which they deserve , their despair and hopelessness is buried under the clay and the lines of faith are clouded by the dust and mud in their hands,but they never fail to use the clay to remodel and refashion themselves again every year and put the same bone wrecking effort to make another deity which might be placed in our homes next year ,these are the artists who's aspirations might never have been met but they deserve our appreciation in the true sense of life !!

A poor man sleeps beside the street, with posters of the Goddess Ma Kali stuck on the wall. It seems as though he sleeps on the lap of his mother, finding solace in her divine presence.
A local person earn his daily bread by providing joy ride to tourist on his decorative camel. This shot was taken during a leisurely morning stroll by the seashore in Puri in Odisha, India.
