Was lucky to see and capture the beautiful family of ODKF (oriental dwarf kingfisher) who was busy feeding the chicks with different catches. Understand this continues for 20~ 21 days before the chicks fly away. The parents feeds them a variety of food like fish/ geckos/ crabs/ mantis/ frogs/ skinks etc
A sleeping tigress hidden in the grass was rudely awakened by a group of chattering langurs. Hungry, angry and sleep disturbed, the tigress moved across silently unnoticed towards the group and in a flash caught a langur while the rest of the group went scampering away
Photographed at Gir National Park early this year , we encountered Tiliya (Hindi Name- Named after a vertical mark on his forehead . We we extremely lucky to see him as we were exiting the park giving us a soul satisfying moment which will be etched in our memory forever.
In the soft glow of early morning, amidst the awakening of cityscape, a diligent street book vendor arranges a harmonious display of knowledge, inspiration and stories. With meticulous care they arrange the books on the rack showcasing the literary treasures to the curious passersby. The seller's dedication in arranging the books is seen in the picture he himself creating an igniting start to his day.
