Muted - In our society, victims of abuse are often silenced and treaded upon. Through my lens, I have showcased the emotions and the mental torture a woman goes through when she is sexually abused. There is no happy endings in these situations and she will have to live with this for the rest of her life. As the photo portrays, she stands alone in her dark place; physically and mentally.
Mindful of our own roots- the values and beliefs we were brought up with, the worldview that was ingrained into us, the experiences we had throughout our lives and qualities that define us for now and the future. A nation's culture dwells in the hearts and souls of its citizens. Together we can.

- The rating of photographers by countries and cities is based on the three best photos of the author and their relative position in each separate nomination. Rating in the nomination "Mobile Photography" is taken into account to a lesser extent for rating formation. The list by country and city shows one photo of the author with the best rating.
