Himba Lady
Himba Lady - Photographed in Namibia. Hairpiece is traditional to the indigenous Himba people who are hunter-gatherers living in Northern Namibia. The headdress also referred to as "Erembe"indicates that she\'s married and this is sculpted from sheepskin. The hair is braided with otjize paste which gives it its unique colour and texture and is also used on their skin to relieve them from insect bites and the protect them from the hot and dry climate.
