LIFE IN THE SLUMS
As I walked on the railway line in one of the biggest slums in Africa (KIBERA), what caught my eyes is how people here are very hardworking and do everything they can to make both ends meet. Mzee Kalasha who I photographed told me he got the wheelbarrow from a friend and since then it has been what has been providing for his family. Apart from gas cylinders he also ferries water and other lagguages from people who need their luggage transported in the slums.
