Coca-Cola: It's the Real Thing.
It has always fascinated me how many giant brands, like Coca-Cola, got their humble beginnings.
Seeing these 3 bottles: an 1899 Hobble Skirt, a 1915 Root Bottle and a 1900 Crown Top Straight Sided Bottle at a thrift store, I immediately knew I wanted to recreate the story of how John Pemberton, an old Southern Root Doctor from Atlanta, Georgia invented Coca-Cola right in his backyard in 1886.
Three-legged kettles made his invention possible. I am not sure of the exact setup of his laboratory, but this is how I imagined it to be using antique props I found locally. This image was made using Harold's Sculpting with Light Technique.
