Lago Limides Mood

A moody day in the Dolomites. One thing that I love about shooting in this region is the ever-changing weather. A minute before and after, the mountains were completely covered by cloud. Thankfully I was able to get this shot, as for a while, I wasn\'t sure I would actually get anything from the shoot! I used a focus stack to get the foreground in focus as well as the background.

On the edge

My trip to Kerry, with friends, in August last year,was a great adventure and fun. I particularly love Dingle in this part of Ireland because of fantastic coastline and mountains. I come here sometimes with family to camp. Weather was not bad and except few showers we could enjoy sunshine during the day. Mornings and evenings were booked for photography. On the first day we went to Dunmore Head. It was a pleasant walk I have to say as Dunmore Head has so much to offer. After getting few shots with the sheep I walked down to end of the Head. I was slowly moving through the spiky rocks to get to the edge were I had a great view on Blasket Islands and Ibcoukd enjoy the Ocean movement. Weather was very dramatic that evening which allowed me to capture this scene. Dunmore Head, Dingle, Kerry, Ireland

The Apocalypse.

This photograph just screams abandonment. The vegetation that starts to swallow the run down car and the not so well looked after wall that's behind the vehicle gives the picure a feel of a distant future, the one we see in movies... In reality this place wasn't abandoned as people lived in the building behind the car. I have chosen to take the photograph from this angle as mentioned above it reminded me of a post-apocalyptic movie. The black and white only highlithed a sense of a different world to it.

alternate worlds

this started with the idea that during the covid 19 crisis, I am the watchtower, watching over my family. The heavy cloud is the weight of the risk I feel I am being a healthcare worker.
