Dusky leaf monkeys

The dusky leaf monkeys - also known as spectacled langurs due to their uncommon appearance - photographed on Penang Island, Malaysia, February 2020. I aimed to express their unique character, present their lifestyle and habits by portraying them in their natural environment. I decided to emphasize strong family bonds by showing connection that members of the troop share with the golden newborns, as distinctive color of their fur makes them extremely prone and dependent on other family members for at least first 6 months of their lives.
