A war and the trophy
It was a fine morning in the Savuti reserve forest, Botswana. We started our safari in the early morning golden hours. very close to the camp, we came across a lion pride which was the very famous "Savuti Pride". There were three male brothers and a female in heat. When there are more successor in the pride, they have to fight each other to decide who is going to the female. The fight will be between the strongest among them. The winner will make his day. The loser will also have his chances again in the coming days. We then saw the loser peacefully resting little far from the mating ground. The winner after the fight went to the female. They started making love approximately every fifteen minute. Every time it lasted for less than 30 seconds. It was great to watch all these what happened in front of us.
