The photo was taken in Hon Khoi near Nha Trang city- South Central of Vietnam, a village that well known with many sea salt fields. Covering about 400ha, it is considered one of the largest salt fields nationwide. To make salt, people will get the sea water in the fields, let it dry under hot sun for around 5 to 7 days. What left on the field is the salt. Farmers will then need to quickly collect the salt. If it rains then all of their hard work will be gone with the rain.
