The flower and the traveler

The picture was taken in Calakmul, México, with the high speed technique, using three flashes, two for the subject and one for the background. I spent around 18 hours sitting and waiting for the hummingbird to feed on that specific flower. After many atempts I was finally able to get the picture that i was looking for. The hummingbird is a migratory species that reproduces in canada and the United States, and during migration reaches the south of México and central América.

El carpintero

Carpentry is an ancient trade of A.C. that in our postmodern era struggle to prevail in one of the oldest neighborhoods of my city Guadalajara. In Santa Tere, Don Manuel, has been his carpenter all his life and he shares his knowledge with the new generations. He, like other carpenters, seeks that this trade does not disappear. He is proud of this ancient trade.

Symmetry composition

Art worked exposed in the \"Memory and Tolerance Museum\" in Mexico City. The work was quite big, a hole wall, but what i liked the most was the symmetry that the glass drops created.
