White Brotherhood celebrates its New Year at Seven Rila Lakes
August 19th is the day that begins the Divine New Year for followers of Dunov.
On this day, hundreds of members of the "White Brotherhood" gather on the plateau lake "Kidney" in Rila to participate in the dance "Paneurhythmy".
In fact, dance is not the right word. Rather, it is a system of physical exercises performed under the accompaniment of music.
The game is played in a circle, the participants go around in the opposite direction to clockwise.
The aim of the "dance" is to achieve harmony with God, nature and the universe.
A tradition that is incomprehensible to many, but very beautiful and impressive live.
