WOMEN IN CHAINS

Women should not be silenced, for whatever reason. Conflict and Insecurity affects women in many ways and such issues ought to be brought to light. Women are beautiful beings, capable and able to achieve anything they put their minds to. With compassion, drive and integrity, women are the hope of this world. Women’s role in leadership and conflict prevention is something that should be given more attention. I attempt to portray women in a positive light, all the while depicting the ever present chains trying to hold them back. I want to inspire others to be aware of the realities we face daily and to do something about gender equality and women empowerment, in the hope that one day soon, the world will be a fair, and equal environment where all human beings can grow and reach their full potential.
