Lava, stars, and stellar dust.

A science fiction scene; on a first plane you can see the campsite´s fire, people hiking the erupting Fuego volcano, and in the night sky you can see the Jupiter and Saturn conjugation as well as the Capricorn constellation illuminated by a diffusing triangular light.

What is that light? Known in old times as a fake sunrise or sunset, this light is actually Zodiacal light; solar light reflected on grains of dust that orbit the planets of the Solar System.

Captured this scenery after the evening twilight at the base camp of Volcano Acatenango the 12th of December of 2020
