Bade Saba (Seven Cities of Love)
This collection is a visual narrative inspired by the story of the “Simorgh” from The Conference of the Birds, reflecting the sevenfold path of the birds’ spiritual journey. Each part of the garment represents one of the valleys of quest, love, knowledge, self-sufficiency, unity, astonishment, and poverty, with colors conveying the feeling of each stage. The seven-gated crown symbolizes passing through these stages to reach the truth of the Simorgh. The colors, ranging from the white of dawn to deep blue and golden hues, delicately portray love.
This work invites reflection and self-recognition along the path of love. It is hoped that the “Bade Saba” (East Wind) will be the messenger, helping us realize that the Simorgh is the collective reflection of all flights, and that human perfection lies in a deeper connection with the inner truth—a truth revealed only in the “Seven Cities of Love
