The photo captures from a bird\\\'s-eye view the fragile moment when winter meets spring. The white, almost untouched surface of the frozen landscape is traced by delicate, branching cracks and dark spots, as if nature is revealing its own grain to us. At the center of the image, a deep green lake breaks the frozen surface: its organic shape forms a sharp contrast with the cold, bluish ice spreading around it.
