Atlantis Reef was discovered by the dive boat Animal Ocean in September 2011. There are two impressive pinnacles appropriately known as the Pillars of Hercules. The marine life has been jealously protected for many years and is flourishing. Visiting divers also protect it with a “no touch” rule. It is part of the South African National Parks\\\' Marine Protected Area (MPA). The photo offers only a glimpse of the variety of sea life, featuring different fish species, strawberry anemones, false corals, and sea fans that cover these granite boulders.
