A red and green macaw dives from an almond tree after a hearty feeding, still with bits of the tree\'s fruit in his mouth. He stretches his tricolored wings to stabilize his descent, flashing us with hues of scarlet red, lime green, cyan and sky blue in a batman-esque style. This photograph encapsulates the split second that these birds show off the back of their wings in a perfectly symmetrical manner, a sight usually not seen unless you are viewing the bird flying from above! This was photographed on the edge of Trinidad\'s second largest swamp where these birds are sometimes seen.
