A group of children are enjoy playing and swimming and even jumping from that tree. Those are the children of beggar, shoe cleaner and gum seller. They took their free time at noon to play this together as it is so hot. I took this at Baray , the corner of Angkor Wat ,Cambodian greatest temple while traveling to Siem Reap in 2017.

People's life with Tree and Climate Change

The people live in rural in developing country like Cambodia are more dependent on natural resources to live. The tree is close to people especially farmers. Climate Change is harming them. The tree is one of the indicators of sensitive of drought hazard. We would reduce risk to harm them to live in resilience.

Mornings on Mount Bromo

Everyday this man embarks on a journey across the sea of volcanic sand,at the top of Mount Bromo, in East Java. The path is rough and visibility poor before the sunrises. The trust the man gives the horse, the horse gives the man and their shared knowledge of the ground shows a strong connection between earth, man and beast. The mornings are cold and the rising sun is a welcome relief.
