Photo Contest Eyes - 35AWARDS

Eyes are a portal into a unique world where light, color, and texture create a standalone visual image. The photographer's task is to make the gaze the focal point, revealing the essence of a living creature without a single word. We are looking for shots where the eyes are the absolute hero, not just a mere physical detail. What matters is not so much the species, but the power and aesthetics of the gaze. Whether it is the deep look of a human, the cold gleam of a reptile, the intricate pattern of an insect's eye, or the expressive eyes of a bird — diversity is welcome. The key is that the shot is intentional, and the eyes read as a captivating universe.

Accepted:

Shots where the eyes are the absolute center of the composition, revealing character, emotion, or unique texture.
The gazes of any living creatures: humans, mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and insects.

Not accepted:

Wide and medium shots where the eyes get lost in the composition and are not the main focal point.
Closed or indistinguishable eyes without a distinct artistic concept.
Artificial eyes, replicas, or drawings.

Vote

Viewers' votes are accepted during the submission period and for several days after completion.

Prize

Increase the limit to the load for the main contest 35AWARDS. Extensive coverage of the winner photos, as well as 10 of the best photos of the competition.

photo should be no copyright marks, add borders, etc.

Not accepted:

Similar images (similar combination of objects, cropping, different shooting angle, or change of photo tone)
Artificial color changes in graphic editors
Collages and composite images

* A photo that has won in other 35AWARDS contests cannot enter the best photos of this contest. Only one photo of the author can enter the number of the best photos of this competition.
** Images that do not match can be removed from the competition.

This is Express Contest, launched in test mode. This is a thematic photo contest with slight modifications, where we are trying out a new voting system.
