AI Portrait Photography Contest General Reference
AI Portrait" is a contest for creators who craft human portraits using neural networks and generative models. We are looking for images where the digital nature is not hidden but becomes part of the artistic statement: deliberate work with prompts, style, lighting, and composition that conveys character, emotion, or concept through a synthesized human image.
The focus is on the mastery of guiding generation: precision in prompt formulation, control over anatomy and proportions, work with mood and environment, and the ability to turn an algorithm's capabilities into an expressive portrait. The specific tool or platform does not matter; what matters is the result, the coherence of the image, and an understanding of what makes an image a portrait rather than just a picture of a face.
Accepted:
- Portraits of people (realistic, stylized, conceptual) fully generated using AI or neural network pipelines
Not Accepted:
- Photographs of real people processed with filters or AI "enhancement" apps
- Images that do not contain a recognizable human face or figure as the compositional center
