Rainy Cities and Streets Photo Contest

Rain transforms the city's optics: asphalt turns into a mirror, streetlights multiply, and familiar streets take on new depth. The key condition of this category is obviousness: the rain must be visually undeniable — backlit rain streaks, splashes on the pavement, droplets and rivulets on glass. We accept street photography and reportage in which rain is not a mere background but a deliberate artistic device working for the composition and mood of the frame.

Accepted:

Street photography and reportage shot in the rain, with visible signs of it — streaks, splashes, droplets on glass

Not accepted:

Frames where rain is merely implied — wet asphalt, umbrellas, an overcast sky — without visible drops or streaks
Shots with fog instead of rain, and interiors with no connection to the rainy street

Vote

Viewers' votes are accepted during the submission period and for several days after completion.

Prize

Increase the limit to the load for the main contest 35AWARDS. Extensive coverage of the winner photos, as well as 10 of the best photos of the competition.

* A photo that has won in other 35AWARDS contests cannot enter the best photos of this contest. Only one photo of the author can enter the number of the best photos of this competition.
** Images that do not match can be removed from the competition.
