For a photographer, this is about working with emotion and movement — you need to catch the moment when a sly squint, an instinctive leap, or a thoughtful gaze turns a shot into a story.
We are looking for works where the cat is the undisputed hero. Not just a cute animal on a sofa, but a personality in the frame. It is important not just to "take a picture of a pet," but to reveal its essence: independence, curiosity, playfulness, or aristocratic calm. A cat can be indoors, outdoors, in motion, or at rest — the main thing is that the shot is intentional and conveys the animal's unique character.
Accepted:
- Shots where the cat is the main hero with a distinct character, emotion, or expressive grace
Not accepted:
- Cats in the background, far away, or as a secondary element of the composition
- Wild animals (tigers, lynxes, leopards, etc.) — only domestic and street cats are accepted
