Description
These images depict the Roman Forum, a central plaza in ancient Rome that served as the hub of public life for centuries. Photographers are drawn to the site for its dramatic contrast between standing stone structures and excavated ruins. The collection demonstrates how changing light conditions affect the scene, capturing the location during bright daylight, twilight, and under artificial illumination. This variety highlights the architectural details of landmarks like the Temple of Saturn and the Arch of Septimius Severus. All images share a focus on these specific ancient monuments within the same geographic setting.
