Insan Indonesia - Morning Rays
A massive, ancient tree with sprawling branches dominates the composition, its silhouette intricately etched against beams of light piercing through the foliage. The early morning sun creates dramatic rays that cascade through the mist, illuminating the entire scene with a dreamlike quality. The play of light and shadow, along with the layered elements—tree, people, animals, and cart—evoke a sense of timelessness, harmony with nature, and quietude. The mist enhances the atmosphere, giving the entire photograph an ethereal, almost magical quality.

Monochrome Majesty: Cepsa Tower, Madrid
This commanding black-and-white photograph captures the awe-inspiring Cepsa Tower, a centerpiece of Madrid's Cuatro Torres Business Area. The towering skyscraper rises with regal presence, its sleek and geometric lines accentuated by the dramatic monochromatic tones. The powerful composition, shot from a low-angle perspective, amplifies the building's grandeur and monumental scale, evoking a sense of majesty and modernity. The smooth curves of the foreground structure provide an elegant contrast to the sharp verticals, symbolizing the seamless blend of innovation and architectural brilliance in Madrid's premier business district. This image stands as a testament to urban ambition and timeless sophistication.

Mundari man
The Mundari tribe of South Sudan, are known for their peculiar relationship with their cows. The relationship the Mundari man has with his cows is on a different basis which in turn nurtures the peculiar relationship between man and a cow, developing into a bond Being predominantly nomads, there is no need to worry about how cows will fit into a house as domestic pets. This bond seems to have risen from economical egocentric and chauvinist factors. A typical Mundari male hustles for more cattle to be able to marry.

In Solio Conservancy, one golden afternoon, a rhino grazed peacefully around us, its sheer presence commanding respect. Slowly, I noticed its curiosity growing—it edged closer, step by step, until it was just meters away. As it got comfortable, I had to switch to a wide-angle lens to capture its massive frame. The sheer size, the powerful build, and that incredible horn left me in awe. Goosebumps ran through me as I framed its calm yet imposing demeanor against a sky painted with scattered clouds. To witness and photograph such a majestic creature up close was a humbling, unforgettable experience.

The silhouettes of Mundari
As in 2021, when I first visited Mundari, this year, Mundari children are still working from a very early age. They and adults don\'t know when they were born or how old they are. In appearance, the youngest workers are between 6-8 years old. A number of them were born in other cattle camps, away from their parents, and it is thought that they may have been sold or given away for breeding. \"BREEDING\" is figurative because they have to work to be able to get food. The cubs\' job is to get up at 05.00 every morning, clean up after the cows and goats, milk them, send them off in the morning and welcome them in the evening.

contortionist
Contortionist captures the raw power and grace of an Andalusian stallion mid-leap in striking black and white. His body twists in an almost unnatural way, muscles sharply defined, showing both strength and agility. The wild mane and tail seem to dance around him, drawing in more movement and energy. Edited on a black background isolates the stallion, drawing all attention to the tension and power he displays. The monochrome tones help to accentuate the contrast between light and shadow, highlighting the details of his form and turning a moment of action into something timeless - just like horses in art are. This image is about more than just a horse in motion... it\'s a study in grace, strength, and the beauty of the natural world caught in a fleeting, overly intense moment.

Twins
In a striking black and white photograph, two pelicans stand facing each other, mirroring one another with almost perfect symmetry. Their long, curved beaks and elegant necks create a harmonious balance, as if they are twins engaged in silent conversation. The monochrome tones emphasize the texture of their feathers, the sharp contrast between light and shadow accentuating every detail. Their eyes, focused and intense, seem to hold a quiet understanding, while the negative space around them enhances the intimacy of their shared moment. The composition is both simple and profound, capturing the grace and quiet connection between these majestic birds.

Reflections of a Futuristic Dream
A world of symmetry and illusion, where architecture bends reality and reflections blur the line between sky and structure. In this monochrome vision, the curves of modern design create an otherworldly dance of light and shadow, as if the future itself has been sculpted into form. A moment suspended in time, where innovation meets eternity.

Forest Elephant Drama
African Forest Elephants are the elusive cousins of the better-known African savanna elephants. They inhabit the dense rainforests of west and central Africa. African Forest Elephants are much more agressive than their savanna cousins, especially outside the safety of their forest home. As soon as this mother elephant spotted our vehicle, she started to run at is in a (mock) charge. Her calf had difficulty getting out of her way. Satisfied with sending us her message, the pair disappeared into their dense forest home, where vehicles cannot follow.

Transience
The photo shows a tree that is dead and still alive in the landscape. The sea, which destroys the cliff with its waves during storms, takes away the trees. These trees are dead, but the sea revives them with its waves, throwing algae onto them and thus composing the landscape. A landscape where life and death intersect.

This black and white photo captures a touching moment where a girl stands snuggled up to a horse. The pronounced shadow of the horse\'s head on the grass adds depth and silhouette charm to the composition. This image makes you want not only to look at it, but also to think about the eternal connection between man and nature, which is conveyed through the simplicity and sincerity of the moment. The picture conveys an atmosphere of trust and tranquility, evoking reflections on harmony in relations with the world around us.

LIFE MUST GO ON
Life is full of challenges, not just for humans, but for all living creatures. In the face of a flooded community, a little girl smiles as she navigates the water in a foam boat she made herself. Her resilience shines through as she refuses to let the flood define her. Nearby, a dog sits quietly, searching for a dry spot, its gaze filled with longing. This image reminds us that, no matter how hard life gets, we must keep moving forward. It’s about facing adversity with courage, using whatever we have, and never giving up, no matter the challenges.

Eyes of the Jungle
I was in the safari jeep, spending the entire day searching for leopards to photograph. Suddenly, my tracker yelled, “Stop! Look there!”. It was an epic moment for me, the leopard was perched on a tree, peeking out and gazing at us. It was perfectly framed by the branches, and through the opening.

Mount Porong Ri and Yebokangal Glacier
This photo was taken on the northern slope of Shishapangma. It was the second day after we arrived at the northern slope, and we had to endure quite a few hardships to capture this shot. Initially, we planned to hike 15km to the forward camp on the northern slope and camp there on the first day. However, upon examining the weather forecast, we found that the next morning would have excellent weather. Thus, we altered our plan and decided to hike an additional 5km to camp within the Yebokangal Glacier. By the time we reached the vicinity of the serac, it had already turned dark. We fumbled in the dark to find the entrance to the serac, but unfortunately, we failed to locate it. Consequently, we had no choice but to camp on a dried-up debris flow nearby. At around 2 AM, we noticed dark clouds gathering overhead. Concerned for safety, we packed up and retreated from the campsite, setting up camp again on muddy ground. By 3 AM, heavy snow began to fall, covering our tent. The next morning, the snow stopped, but since we had been unable to camp within the serac, I launched the drone to approach it. At that moment, the sunlight illuminated the depths of the Mount Porong Ri, creating a striking contrast between the pyramid-shaped mountain and the serac below. I captured this photograph.
