The photo is a record of natural structures – the patterns that had formed on the frozen lake under the influence of various weather conditions. When I noticed this amazing pattern, I decided to become a part of this image, at least for a moment. I realized that the human figure would reflect the proportions of the created patterns and would also be a visualization of my attachment and fascination with the natural world. In order to realize my idea, I dressed in a white outfit so as not to disturb the natural composition too much and started posing, while recording the different sequences with a drone. I took the photo in the Drawsko Lake District in North-Western Poland.

The Faroe Islands rarely have sunny days, so we were lucky to come here this time. The day of the shoot happened to be a sunny day. The green grass at the top of the cliff extends downwards until it meets the blue-green lake water. The lake is like a huge mirror, and the clouds in the distance of the sky are like a big cotton. The image portrays the majestic Schwarzberg mountain near the Maighels river, a tributary of the Rhine. It was taken in August during a three day hiking trip with my friends. I was extremely tired, but says the view ‘was just too good to not fly the drone.’ The light pierced through the clouds illuminating the scene in a dreamy way, so I took a three picture panorama of the scene. The little house creates a dramatic sense of scale.
