The weather is totally unpredictable in the big mountains, you can go from completely clear skies to the thickest fog. This is what happened that day, I was in the Navarre Pyrenees, the alarm clock rang and when I looked out the car window I only saw completely clear skies, which almost made me stay in the car and not go out. I finally decided to give it a try, and as soon as I saw the layer of virgin snow that had fallen that night I knew that even if I had clear skies it was going to be a great session. However, shortly after sunrise clouds began to roll in from the French side and create fog around the peak creating an idyllic high mountain scene. I could only take this photo because after 15mn I could barely see what I had at 2m because of the dense fog that came in from the French side.
