Penitents participate in the tradition of the \'gateadores\' (crawlers) this Good Friday, in the indigenous municipality of San Andres Sajcabaja, in the department of Quiche, Guatemala, 02 April 2021. The \'crawlers\' of Guatemala every Good Friday go to atone for their sins, to ask for forgiveness or to give thanks with their own Stations of the Cross: walking on their knees with thorns on their back, crawling for several kilometers, others carry heavy crosses with thorns of the church to Calvary. The men serve seven years with penance.
