Every day I use the train - I go to Moscow and back. This project was not planned, I always liked to observe the neighbors in the carriage, and it so happened that I have accumulated a whole collection of photographs, which was named Электричкapeople. Электричка (Elektrichka) is the name of a suburban electric train.
It seems to me that people on trains are a kind of community, united by the need to slow down for a while and surrender to the forced idleness and blissful contemplation of the views from the window for those 40-60 minutes that they spend on the way. Each of them is immersed in his thoughts and feelings, everyone's emotions at this moment are real.
I try to capture moments that are both very personal and public at the same time. By telling these railway stories, I want to show how amazing and emotional everyday life is, you just have to look closely.
