It is believed that Serengeti Lions hold the largest population in Africa due to a plenty of availability in prey species. It is recorded more than 3,000 lions live in this ecosystem.
If doable, durable and lucky enough an adult mail can survive for about 12years in the wild. Adult females can live longer, even to 19.
After born life span or life expectancy of any cub is very low, for any lion, if the high mortality rate is consider among the cubs the 50% of them don’t survive more than two years of their age.
