Blacktip reef shark crossing the waters in front of me just when the light is perfect.

In the first month of the COVID-19 crisis, we were able to observe the increase in underwater life. The global pandemic of COVID-19 makes us reflect on what the future holds. Our focus and attention are on all those injured by this terrible disease. But for many of us, this is also a moment of deep reflection on society and the world in which we will live when this scourge ends. So for me, it is also a time to reflect on the perspectives of the ocean, one of the fundamental life support systems of the planet, which makes it vital for human health and well-being.
