The picture was taken at one of the beaches of Saint Lucia during quarantine time.
The government has imposed a 24/7 curfew without notice, which caught us by surprise and left us all without enough food, "essentials" , in our homes, closed supermarkets and food outlets for a week and forbidden to walk out of our doors. . Uring the week the public outcry made government delivering food packages via gov organizations to those in need, non privileged and poor. After a week and revision of the curfew, farmers and fishermen were deemed essential services, and allowed to farm/fish from dawn to dusk.....the fishermen in my community daily now fish and feed families, who many of them lost their jobs were dependented on tourism , the major industry on this island country while gradually essential stores started to partially open.
Beaches are closed for the rest if the public...I suppose not being on the beach...
Both Fisherman and sea birds fighting for food; birds were stealing fish from the fishermen nets and the fishermen left fish behind for them. This one, stopped and threw fish for them to catch.
