Andrea Pacioni realizes his artworks by working exclusively with the silver photography, taking care of the entire creative path from the realization of the negative to the final print in the dark room. He has produced works on different materials, from steel to glass, from lead to stone, through the use of liquid emulsion to silver salts. A long research and experimentation in the laboratory led him to obtain images without support. This is the case of "transparenTrees” series. Six b/w trees portraits printed on nothing. The result is surprising. photographs visible from both sides. In This work photography finds a new technical and artistic dimension. The "transparenTrees” are presented inside of wood and glass frames, hanging from very fine steel wires
