Many flowers are the essence of ephemeral and to me, they represent the impermanence, the fleeting beauty gradually vanishing.
These particular poppies captured my attention and I tried to portray them so as to express their lightness, as if they were dancing. Influenced by Irving Penn work on flowers, my subject is photographed close-up: in post production I added a very simple background, so as to isolate the flowers, in order to enhance colors and details.
